Seed Clare Valley is a celebration of relaxed regional dining in the heart of Clare. 
We start from a belief that the produce of our region, the Clare Valley, is world class. Wherever possible, we look to source our ingredients from a mere stone’s throw away. Sometimes we reach a little further  to the Barossa, the Fleurieu, the Limestone Coast. Occasionally, if it’s truly special, we’ll source internationally. But for us, the closer to home the better.
We take our simple, quality ingredients and present them in pared-back form – from our daily deli menu through to the provisions found in our store, and the shared plates served in our nighttime bistro. 

A new beginning...

Seed Clare Valley is the evolution of the former Seed Kitchen + Winehouse, founded by chef Guy Parkinson and Candice Leighton in 2014. After five celebrated years in its original 1880s farmhouse venue, an expanded Seed team embarked upon an expansive renovation of Clare's former Commonwealth Bank in 2020. Now, our re-envisioned Seed has emerged, and we look forward to sharing it with you on your next visit.

Our BYO policy

We live and work in a wine region and recognise that at times our guests want to enjoy their own wines with our food. We are happy to accommodate BYO as a service at the cost of $20 per bottle of wine (750ml). We do not accept BYO on Friday and Saturday evenings, or on all services over a long weekend. 

We do not allow BYO on the rooftop bar at any time. Thank you.
